You may be curious about the Kiwanis Club of Casa Loma and may be considering to become a member. I hope I can help you can discover if our club matches your interests and if we are the club for you!

The Kiwanis Club of Casa Loma strives to build our community and serve the children of the world with the energy and enthusiasm of our members. You may know the name Kiwanis because of the Kiwanis Music Festival where school bands and choirs across Canada have competed since 1908. We donate annually to the administration of the Festival, award scholarships to the participants and volunteer during the two weeks of competition. That is basically what the Kiwanis Club of Casa Loma does: donate, award and volunteer!

Through our Foundation and fund-raising, we donate to global causes such as the Eliminate Project to eliminate world-wide, maternal and neonatal tetanus, a preventable disease. Locally, we donate to the Grange Festival at the University Settlement House, the Children‘s Peace Theatre and the West Neighbourhood House Youth Space and Kindergarten Readiness Program.

We award 10 community minded leaders graduating from high schools across the GTA with the Kiwanis Club of Casa Loma Key Club Scholarships for their postsecondary education. Key Clubs are student directed service clubs in high schools sponsored and mentored by Kiwanis to develop leadership, service and character.

All of our community partners and our events benefit from our volunteers.  We often partner with our Key Clubs at Food Drives, and serving pizza at the CAMH Christmas Party and helping at our Lovely Spring Run in support of CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health).

We are always looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals who want to build our community and collaborate with our members to donate, award and volunteer!  Please contact us for membership information.
