In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

Our club is involved in a variety of projects that involve fundraising, community service, and assisting children locally and worldwide. Below are the projects in which we are currently involved:

Name Chairs Description
Donations Reviews requests for funds and makes recommendations to the Chair. The funds are distributed to various projects in need.
Food Bank In collaboration with a local food store, we raise funds and organize a food program for children in need throughout our local community.
Gala Fundraising Events Large scale galas, advertised to general public to promote recruitment and KCCL branding
Kids Day Organizes an annual event for underprivileged children seven years of age or younger.
Kiwanis Music Festival Presides and coordinates volunteers for annual music festival.
Recruitment and membership recruit new members, screen and mentoring
Scholarship Kiwanis Presents music & Service Awards to students from local high schools at their commencement. The awards and Scholarships are presented to deserving graduating high school students pursuing a post-secondary education at a June luncheon.
Service Leadership Program (SLP) Organizes Kiwanis activities in the Toronto educational system such as, K-Kids(grade 1-6), Builders Clubs (Middle School), Key Clubs (High School), Circle-K Clubs (College & University).
Staples Committee A Kiwanis partnership with Staples Stores to collect & donate school supplies to needy children.
Website/electronic communication maintains and updates website
